Chaz the Dog needs a home

Chaz is a shy, 6 yr old orange and white chihuahua mix who came to us from a great rescue in Nevada in 2014.  He was in a nice group home for a month there, having come from bad hoarding situation. He's made great progress at B&B. He still doesn't want to be petted, but he has a friendly demeanor toward people that he likes. He should do well in a home where he would have one on one attention. What he needs is someone to be his leader, and when he has that he is obedient and is quick at learning commands.



He has one funny/strange bad habit with medium or long haired dogs- he likes to pull their hair! He stops when firmly told to. He likes small, short haired dogs best. He gets along perfectly with tiny chihuahua roommate Boots. 



Came in with Scruffy, Mr. Fuzzy, Georgie, and Pippy. All gorgeous chihuahuas.....all have made same super progress as Chaz.

 fully vaccinated before adoption; they have been wormed, bathed, socialized, walked daily and much loved; each adoptee leaves with a leash, collar, and all medical records.  




The beauty of coming to our Apple Valley sanctuary is that you can see all 90+ dogs!  

No more weekend mobiles—only special events. Maybe if there are enuff appointments, we could see you in 

El Monte or Orange County or nearby. Email your application and ask for more details!
